It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Jean Pearson on July 19, 2016 surrounded by her family. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, William George Pearson. She leaves behind her daughters Cheryl Pearson and Gina Campbell, her son-in-law Jarrod Campbell, her grandchildren Megan Johnson, Calista Pearson, Tanner and Jakeb Campbell, her companion Howard Blair, her parents Eric and Phyllis Phillips, her siblings, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Dorothy was very active with her church attending regularly, receiving Holy Commmunion and trusting her Lord's grace; she served on the church council and in the LWML and organized events such as Thanksgiving dinners, Easter brunches and Ice Cream Wednesdays. Dorothy loved knitting, crocheting, quilting, bowling and playing darts. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 1:00pm at Hope Lutheran Church, 1924 Carrick St, Victoria, BC. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Dorothy’s name to Redeemer Lutheran Church ( www.rlcvic.ca ).
